Game Day Before Kids
I used to wake up between 8-10am. Whenever the body felt like it to be honest.
I'd read a bit of the paper over a coffee and breakfast. Fried eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms and a big glass of OJ. Beautiful!!!
TV would be on in the background with sunrise on followed by the early morning footy shows.
Then I'd get picked up and off we go to the city to watch the footy.
As soon as we get to the ground the beers start up.
As the day progresses a few mates meet up with us and come in on the shout.
Halftime comes around and off I go to buy a pie and chips even though some of the boys yell out "eatings cheating"!!!
The game finishes up usually with the blue boys having a great win.
After the game me and some of the boys head off to the city for some late night entertainment possibly at some of the fine gentleman clubs and a few more drinks.
This results in getting home from 3-6am but hey who cares. I can sleep in till midday if I wish.

We go straight from Laurimar to the MCG to watch the Carlton vs. Essendon game.
As soon as we get there everyone wants something to eat.
I give the oldest $50 to get some food and I get no change but I did get a couple of chips.
Halftime rolls around and the wife is busy with the other kids so I take Holly and do a shitty nappy change.
Upon my return, the kids are hungry again. Another $50.
During the 4th quarter it has been brought to my attention that our 6 year olds IPad is down to 5%.
Now all of a sudden I'm more nervous about a bloody iPad than the bloody game. I do manage a few beers in the last half with me old man but upon the final siren and a blues win we are allowed to go on the ground for some kick to kick.
We head out and have kick.
Balls are flying everywhere. I'm ducking and weaving but cop one in the head eventually.
We then gather everyone up and start to head home.
The only dirty bird I see on my way home this time is at KFC for dinner.
